  1. Hey! I didn't realize you were posting podcasts again! That's good. New host too; hello Mike! My first two point below start with how I may have mentioned it before, but it would be new for you I guess. :)

Re: Games as work / Playing on easy - I tend to play most games on easy at the start. I think I've mentioned this before, but I play to relax. If I get frustrated or bored with tedium I'm not relaxing. I may go back and turn up the difficulty for subsequent plays, but I have no shame in starting on easy.

Re: Mario 2D games - I may have mentioned this before too, but I had this theory that the original Super Mario Bros isn't as good as most people remember. And that's because most people probably haven't played without using the warp zones. And that's because most people don't want to actually play the game, they just want to get to the end, so how good could it be. ;)
And on that note, I didn't get through much of Super Mario Bros Wii, also tied in with my first point. It was too much work for me. But I also didn't care a lot for Super Mario Galaxy (even though I actually BEAT that one).

The Last Jedi - I'm with Mike on this one. The stuff I didn't like about that movie didn't invoke strong feelings of disapproval from me. The stuff I liked about that movie (which was pretty much everything happening on Ahch-To Island) I thought was great. I loved what they did with Luke's character, and have talked to Star Wars fans on how it could be seen as completely IN-CHARACTER for him. I loved the dynamic between Rey and Ren. And I loved how they threw in a lot of grey area between all three of their perspectives. Too much to type out though.
